Rooftop Tea & Golf Party

British food architects Bompas and Parr have created a cake bases crazy golf course on the roof of Selfridges. Open until September 2nd the 9 hole course is designed as a homage to all things British. The challenging cake inspired holes take the form of London Landmarks including Tower Bridge, Nelson's Column and a rotating Gherkin.

14 of P&W's finest putters teed off on Thursday to compete in this culinary Grand Slam. As the sun set over the roofs of London's West End competition was tense between the 4 teams who arrived suitably dressed for the occasion.

Many fell foul of the water obstacle, some fell in! However all played with enthusiasm and some showed gleams of real talent. An hour later Nick was crowned our individual winner with a very respectable 3 over par, sharing the team win with Mark, Mel and Nick S. All then retired to the 19th hole for well earned refreshment and discussion of the finer points of a sport sadly missing from the Olympic schedule.
